(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): Covid-19 patients were found in 22 different areas of Patna on Thursday. A total of 108 people have been found infected. A sweet shopkeeper of Masaurhi died due to corona in NSCH. For the second time in the last four days, the number of corona patients in Patna has reached 100. In this way, the number of infectants in the district reached 938, while the number of deaths has reached 10.
Earlier on June 29, 102 infectants were found. On Thursday too, corona infectants were found in almost all important localities of Patna. 12 infectants have been found in P.M.C.H. including five from Tripolia and Kadamkuan. Two of them are nursing staff of P.M.C.H. Apart from these, eight from Kankarbagh, one from Malahi Pakdi, one from Bhootnath Road, four from Gola Road, four from Digha, two from Patel Nagar, two from Danapur, one from Boring Road, two from Sipara, two from Rajivnagar, one from Phulwarisharif, one from Rukanpura, one from Buddha Colony, one from Maner, two from Bihta, one from Karbigahiya and one from S.K. Puri have been found infected.
Due to the increasing number of patients, there is a lack of space in the isolation ward. The team of Civil Surgeon was busy till 11 pm in arranging places to keep the infectants. Isolation wards of Patna City, Hotel Patliputra Ashoka, and Patliputra Sports Complex have been filled. The infectants will now be shifted to ESI Hospital in Bihta.
