So far, this figure is the highest in a day. On Wednesday, 45 thousand 601 people were found infected. On Thursday, the maximum reported positive was 9,895 in Maharashtra, 7,998 in Andhra Pradesh, 6,472 in Tamil Nadu, and 5,030 in Karnataka.
Meanwhile, it is a matter of relief that the number of patients recovering has also crossed 8 lakh. So far, 8 lakh 16 thousand 205 people have been recovered. On Thursday, a record of 33 thousand 326 people recovered. This is the highest number of patients recovering in a day. Earlier on Wednesday, 874 people were cured. Currently, 4 lakh 40 thousand 863 people are under treatment.
The death toll exceeded 30 thousand
