Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Lucknow: 200 CCTV cameras will be installed in the capital for women safety. Commissioner of Police DK Thakur said that under the Safe City project, CCTV cameras will be installed in the commissionerate by marking the places for women to come, shopping malls, complex and deserted places.
He said that in the last one year, the number of incidents of molestation or harassment with women has been taken out. Five CCTV cameras will be installed by marking such places. The above places will be monitored with cameras. Immediate dial 112 service and local police will be sent for action on any untoward incident.
