New Delhi: (Geetesh Ujjainwal, Intern Journalist) Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday tweeted that to date 24,279 pulse oximeters had been distributed by Delhi government among a large number of Covid-19 patients with mild or no symptoms under home isolation.
A pulse oximeter is a device that can be clipped on to the fingertip to measure the oxygen level in the body of the patient infected with the novel coronavirus.
The novel coronavirus attacks the respiratory system of a person and a Covid-19 patient starts feeling breathlessness. Sources in Delhi government said that 75,000 pulse oximeters had been ordered and about 46,000 had been returned by the patients.
