3.4 million jobs in Latin America, death toll crosses 10.19 lakh

Meanwhile, the United Nations World Labor Organization (ILO) reported that at least 3.4 million people in Latin America had lost their jobs due to the epidemic.

This figure is higher than the ILO estimate in early August. The ILO figures are based on data from nine countries that constitute 80 percent of the region’s workforce.
