(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Patna: In the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, LJP fielded 41 of its candidates. Retained friendship with BJP, while putting up candidates against 35 candidates of Nitish Kumar. Chirag attacked the JDU that voting for JDU means ruining Bihar. The LJP also challenged the Ham and VIPs of the NDA alliance. We have also challenged the NDA alliance with our candidature on 6 K and one VIP seats. If party sources are to be believed, the LJP will have the same policy in the coming second phase and third phase elections as well. Even further, LJP will not field candidates on BJP seats. In the first phase, LJP has given tickets to six people from BJP. LJP has given tickets to BJP leader Rajendra Singh, Usha Vidyarthi, BJP Jhajha MLA Ravindra Yadav, BJP leader from Ghosi Rakesh Singh, BJP leader Rameshwar Chaurasia from Sasaram, BJP leader Mrinal Shekhar from Banka, JDU leader Bhagwan.
LJP has given a ticket to Singh Kushwaha from Jagdishpur.

The BJP is terming BJP’s succession as one of the biggest leaders in the LJP just before the Bihar Assembly elections. It believes that BJP’s alliance with JDU is strong and the two parties will form the government together.
However, some JDU leaders believe that this rebel is joining the LJP only at the behest of the BJP. After the demise of Ram Vilas Paswan, Chirag Paswan is expected to sympathize, while his relationship with the NDA will be tested. BJP leaders say that they all joined the LJP because they were not being given tickets this time, but so far BJP has announced candidates for only the first phase of 27 seats. It may be that by the last step, this list may become longer. Actually, BJP wants to fight on the LJP ticket instead of joining rebel RJD or Congress because they hope LJP can join the government again after the election. Even in this state, LJP has been getting 5 to 10 percent of the vote. That is why the BJP rebels are confident that along with the LJP vote, the voters angry with Nitish Kumar and RJD will also vote for them. In such a situation, BJP rebels are seeing their future better in LJP rather than in Grand Alliance.
