Lucknow: Vikas Srivastava, working in a private company, had given money to a society operator in Bakshi’s pond area to buy a plot. Even after three years, the society operator is making him dizzy.
In Gomtinagar Nagar Extension, businessman Anil Kumar had booked a plot in a society. Even after five years, the operator is not ready to tell where the plot is.
The administration will tighten its grip on such housing committees that have robbed the common man of his life’s hard-earned money by showing a dream of a house and plot. Following the instruction of DM Kaushalraj Sharma, a list of about 35 residential committees has been prepared, which will be examined.
All the housing committees became active after the land became expensive in rural areas connected to urban areas by dreaming money. The housing committees showed the people a dream of building houses and plots on the land, which they did not deal with the farmer.
Now the allottees are running for the plot and the society operators are flouting the promise of giving the plot here and there. Thousands of people are sitting in this game of the society by spending their lifetime’s hard earned money in this way.
Report sought from SDM The DM has summoned the entire report of the committees active in their area from all SDMs. The DM has asked whether the committees’ documents are valid. Whether or not he is registered with the Registrar of Societies.
How much land do the committees have? What is the land use of land? How much SC-ST land sold? Whether his permission was taken from the administration or not. The report can be filed, District Magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma says that if any disturbance is found in the society, gangster’s action will be taken against the operator by filing a report.
