(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur: Preparations have been made to hand over 40 ITIs of the state to private hands. It is agreed to privatize 16 institutions in the first phase and 24 in the second phase. Students will enter private ITIs from the new semester. With this, its burden will be up to 54 times on the students who enroll. That is, ITI studies will be more expensive than polytechnic studies. There are 307 government, 12 women, and 2931 private ITIs in the state. A decision has been taken to privatize to improve the quality of training that is constantly falling. It is believed that after privatization, there will be a chance to learn new technology through state of the art machines.
