(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) Lagos: Armed thugs attacked a secondary school in the Nigerian state of Katsina on Friday. Police said they entered the school with AK-47 rifles and opened fire. It was revealed that a large number of students went missing after the attack. Locals said the armed thugs took some students hostage along with them. The school has about 600 students and about 400 of them are still unaccounted for, spokesman Gambo Isha said. Police said the Nigerian army and the country’s air force were trying to locate the students.
