Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): More than 4000 thousand new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Delhi for the fifth consecutive day. First of all, 4039 new cases were reported on 09th September. Thereafter 4308 and 4266 new cases were confirmed on 10 and 11 September. On Saturday, 12th September, a total of 4321 new cases were reported in Delhi, which is the highest number of cases found in a day. Today, on 13 September, the number of new cases filed in the capital is 4235.
According to the Health Bulletin of the Delhi Government released on Sunday evening, the total number of infected in the capital has now reached 2 lakh 18 thousand 304 with 4235 new cases. Today a total of 3403 people have managed to defeat the disease. So far, one lakh 84 thousand 748 people in Delhi have completely recovered after treatment. The number of corona cases currently active in Delhi is 28 thousand 812.
According to the Delhi Health Department, in the last 24 hours, 29 people have died due to corona. Thus far 4744 people have died in Delhi due to this epidemic. With the increase of new cases, the number of container zones is also increasing. The number of containment zones in the capital has now risen to 1488.
The Health Department has informed that a total of 56 thousand 656 samples have been investigated in the capital on Sunday. Out of this, 10 thousand 116 corona samples have been tested through the RTPCR / CBNAT / Traunat medium, while 46 thousand 540 samples have been tested through rapid antigen tests. So far 21 lakh 39 thousand 432 corona samples have been investigated in Delhi.
