Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that 63 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours due to the corona epidemic.
He said that with 4466 new cases, the number of infected in the state has now increased to 1 lakh 13 thousand 378. Of the total cases, 66 thousand 834 people have fully recovered after treatment and have been discharged from the hospital. Awasthi said that on Thursday, 3432 people in the state had managed to beat Corona. The Additional Chief Secretary said that the total death toll has now reached 1981 with 63 deaths in the last 24 hours.
He said that the health department is constantly conducting more and more tests. On Thursday, 95 thousand 737 samples were investigated in the state. In this way, a total of 28 lakh 93 thousand 424 samples have been tested in Uttar Pradesh so far. We are still increasing our test capacity. More and more testing is a major weapon in the fight against Corona.
