London, Many strange things have been observed during lockdown due to coronavirus. Things that no one could ever think of were done. The means of public transport also remained closed during the lockdown. National and international flights are also canceled. Because of this, hundreds of people walked towards their homes on foot, those who did not walk took second support.
Two thousand kilometers long journey
Some people have gone so far from their means that it has become astonishing in itself. A recent case has emerged from Scotland in London. A student living in Scotland remembered so much of the parents living in his house that he had traveled 2000 kilometers by bicycle, he cycled for 48 days to his parents. Seeing his son in front, the parents were filled with tears. The name of the student is Klein Papadimitriou. he is a Greek student in Aberdeen, Scotland.
0-year-old Papadimitriou is studying electrical and electronic engineering at the University of Aberdeen. Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, school colleges and schooling are closed at all places. He had a lot of time left after studies stopped, he planned to make good use of it. As part of the plan, it was made a plan that now it would be driven out of the coronated Europe by motorcycle.
Started stocking
After this Papadimitriyo started his preparations. He started collecting goods. It housed phones, power banks, some appliances, two change of clothes, a raincoat, a windbreaker, a tent, sleeping bag, food and water for four days. Apart from this, he also kept a book with him, he wants to take that book with him everywhere.
On the first day when he got out of the bicycle to go to his house, after reaching a few kilometers, he regretted his decision. Papadimitriou told that his parents did not know where he was. Because of this, they started crying. They did not even know that they had come out of the house, now where will they stay in the night
Fear of persecution at night
Then asked a pizza delivery boy going from the front where he could stay at night. The boy then told them that he could go to a nearby grove and stay there. After going there, Papadimitriou again collected food for himself and told his parents where he had reached.
After that, he moved forward, during which 20-year-old Papadimitriou learned a lot of things. He also learned how to handle himself in difficult situations. When my morale is low, I realize how important some relationships are in life
First day in hardships
Papadimitriou told that when he got out of his bicycle to go to his parents, he was seen full of difficulties on the first day. Most of the problems were due to bad weather and steep climb. They covered about 125 miles in one day. But he soon realized that such a goal would enable him to reach his home soon before he had covered about 75 miles in one day.
Spent two days at friend’s house
In a week of his journey, he arrived at a friend’s house in Leeds, a city in northern England, where he stayed for two days. He also took his first bath since leaving Scotland. After this, Papadimitriou came to mind what he was doing with his life. But he had to reach his parents. His next destination was to travel from Britain to the Netherlands, he traveled between Britain and the Netherlands, crossing the border by putting a bicycle on the boat.
Four days later he reached a camp in Germany. Here his friends asked him to stop. But no one gave him a place in his house due to coronavirus, so he had to spend the night by putting up a tent in the road or park. He was also at risk of the corona during his stay in the street by planting tents but somehow he crossed it all.
Greece arrived after 46 days
Papadimitriou finally arrived in Greece on June 25, 46 days after leaving Aberdeen, where his parents met him in Patras, then underwent a coronavirus test, the report came negative. On 27 June they reached Athens at their home. Then he said that he himself did not know how high his morale was but now if someone asks him to cycle again for such a distance, it will be difficult.
