800 bags of manure sold under police supervision

(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Balrampur: In the scorching sun, sweaty farmers finally got Urea. On Tuesday, a long queue of farmers was seen at the IFFCO center located in Bhagwatiganj Mandi Samiti. The farmers were seen struggling for a sack of urea, bypassing the physical distance.

The token was arranged in view of the crowd of farmers. 700 farmers queued, given tokens. Fertilizer distribution was done in the presence of police force and district agriculture officer. After laying in line on Monday, the farmers were returned on Tuesday asking to distribute manure. On Saturday, 13500 sack urea was found. Half of this was sent to the urea committee. 2800 sacks were kept for distribution of manure at IFFCO’s Bhagwatiganj center.

Out of this, around 800 bags of urea was distributed. After getting the token, the farmers were also competing for the first manure. For this, Many times there was also a push-up. People took manure bypassing the physical distance and the rule of applying masks. Farmers Rangeela, Ramkishan, and Rajesh did not get manure. Reported that the token had been distributed earlier so no manure was found. Will have to come again in the morning. District Agriculture Officer Manjit Kumar said that 800 bags of urea were distributed in the presence of police. There is no shortage of manure at the center. Urea will be given under a token arrangement.
