(Raaisha Upadhyay, Intern journalist) Delhi: An 84 yr old woman accidentally locked herself in a bed box at her home in Central Delhi on Thursday and was rescued by police.
Prasad Nagar police station reached the women’s home near Karol Bagh within 6 min of receiving the call from the women’s relative.
It took all most 2 minutes to break open the iron door and rescue the women from the bed box. The Prasad Nagar police informed about the incident by Kohli’s granddaughter Nancy Kholi who noticed the CCTV footage live streaming on her mobile phone.
Kholi’s granddaughter and her husband also reached and thanked the police for their action that saved her life.
