(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist) Patna: The infection is spreading rapidly in Patna district. This was the reason that the district administration had to create 21 new containment zones in a week. Most coronavirus infection has occurred in the Patna Sadar subdivision area. The total number of houses in the containment zone is 15,981 and the total number of persons is 74,476.
20 containment zones in Patna City, 34 in Patna Sadar, 21 in Danapur, seven in Masaurhi, and eight in Paliganj have been created. The number of houses in the 20 containment zones of Patna City is 6,698 and the total number of persons is 26,962. 1,657 people live in 407 houses of 34 containment zones of Patna Sadar subdivision. 22,367 people live in 4,554 houses of 21 zones of the Danapur subdivision. 9,249 people live in 1,943 houses of seven zones of Masaurhi.
