(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist) Patna: All the major hospitals in the state are facing congestion of patients with symptoms of coronavirus, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS-P) in Patna on Saturday launched the pilot project of Covid-19 (CCC-19), Initiated community care. There is a facility of telemedicine in Siwan which is available round-the-clock from its doctors.
The CCC-19 center has been set up with the help of an NGO in an area of 7,000 square feet on the first floor of a building in Chari Bazar village under the Badhariya block, about 26 km from Siwan city. Director of AIIMS-P Dr. PK Singh said that reaching out to the far-flung people through telemedicine is a pilot project.
CCC-19 has been started with 10 beds. Under its telemedicine program, videoconferencing with doctors of AIIMS will share the medical status of those arriving from nearby villages and suggest medicines and precautionary measures at AIIMS-P.
