(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): Government data shows that 37,724 coronavirus viruses and 648 deaths occurred in India in the last 24 hours. The total cases in the country are now 11,92,915. At least 7,53,050 people have been recovered and the total fatalities are 28,732. The recovery rate is 63.12 percent and the positivity rate is 10.99 percent. The total samples tested till 21 on Tuesday is 1.47 crore, while yesterday 3,43,243 samples were tested. Maharashtra is the most hit state in the country and has a mortality rate of 3.8 percent, higher than the national average of 2.5 percent.
