(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): Only a day after being discharged from Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital, where she was being treated for covid-19, on Tuesday night Aishwarya Rai Bachchan posted a thank you message on her Instagram page for her fans and well-wishers. “Overwhelmed and forever indebted…God bless you all. All my love always and prayers for the well-being of you all. Truly, deeply and heartfelt. Be well and be safe. God bless. Love you all too.” she wrote.
Abhishek Bachchan shared the news of Aishwarya and Aaradhya being discharged from the hospital on social media. He said, “They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff.”
Big B had also posted an emotional post a day ago, in which he spoke about being overcome by feelings upon hearing that his daughter-in-law and granddaughter had been released from the hospital. “Apni Choti bitiya our bahu rani ko hospital se Mukti Milne par main rok na Paya Apne aansu. Prabhu Teri Kripa apaar, aprampaar.” he wrote.
For the Bachchan family, it has been a great relief as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya have been tested negative for covid-19. Around two weeks ago they were infected with the virus and had told everyone on social media about it.
