(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar can be seen playing the character of astronaut Rakesh Sharma on the silver screen. Rakesh Sharma’s Biopic ‘Sare Jahan Se Achchha’ has been discussed for a long time. The names of the stars like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Vicky Kaushal have appeared for the lead role in the film but the thing could not be done.
It is now being told that in this, filmmakers have signed Farhan. As per the report from Mumbai Mirror, Farhan Akhtar has been approved for this movie. In this, he will play the role of Rakesh Sharma. It is believed that for the film, Farhan Akhtar can also work on physical transformation and can get training to become an astronaut. Even earlier, Farhan Akhtar has worked on his physic for ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. It is worth mentioning that Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian astronaut who stepped into space in the year 1984. Rakesh Sharma was awarded the Ashok Chakra for bravery.
