(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): India and China are to be negotiated again today to stress on the Line of Control (LAC) in Ladakh. The talks between the two countries are going to be held in Moldo. Sources say that the current situation of Pangong-Gogra should be at the center of this conversation, where the process of disengagement has not been completed.
This is the fifth meeting of the core commanders of both countries today. In this, India will firmly say that China should go back to its place where it was in April.
According to sources, China is claiming that the disengagement process has been completed at all disputed points, but India says that there has been no change in the situation for more than a fortnight in Gogra and Pangong. An official said, “Disengagement in Pangong and Gogra areas has not been completed. The number of Chinese soldiers has decreased somewhat, but not much has changed.
