(Riya Saha, Intern Journalist) Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been tested Covid-19 positive. The Union minister took to Twitter to inform about his health and requested all those who have come in contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested for coronavirus.

Amit Shah said that his health is fine and he is being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. Amit Shah has been admitted to the Medanta Hospital.

“On getting initial symptoms of coronavirus, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request that all those who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done,” Home Minister Amit Shah informed through his tweet.

Home Minister Amit Shah has been at the forefront of India’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Amit Shah even assisted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in bringing the Covid situation in Delhi under control when the infections were at a peak in the national capital.
