DM Prabhu N Singh said that “29 new infected patients have been found on Sunday. The total number of infected has reached 1870. There have also been 17 new patient discharges. Now the number of patients recovering from the Coronavirus has increased to 1475. At the same time, the treatment of 295 patients is underway.
He said that, “The number of death has so far been 100. Sample tests of 54,960 people have been done in the district. There have been 2,018 sample tests in the last 24 hours, 243 containment zones have been closed.
Containment zones are decreasing despite increasing number of new patients. As of Sunday, 243 containment zones in the district were closed. There are currently 91 Containment Zones active. So far, 334 containment zones have been formed in Agra.
