Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): US President Donald Trump is constantly giving shocks to Indians who dream of jobs in America. Now Trump has issued a new executive order regarding an H-1B visa, under which the US federal agencies will not be able to hire on H-1B visa. Trump has signed an executive order on Monday, stating that US federal agencies cannot employ workers on a contract or subcontracting foreigners – especially those coming to the US on H-1B visas.
“I am signing an executive order today to ensure that the federal government will follow a simple rule – American citizens are the Most Important,” Trump said in front of the media at his Oval Office in the White House before signing the order.
Trump announced his decision a month after that decision, which suspended several foreign work visas, including H-1B visas, until December 2020 on 23 June. This order has been effective from June 24. This decision of Trump has been linked to the elections in November.
Let us know that the H-1B visa is most demanded among Indian IT professionals. H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa, under which companies can hire foreign professionals possessing theatrical or technical skills. Every year, American companies give jobs to thousands of Indians under this visa.
