(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist) Patna: The R-block flyover will begin on Sunday. CM Nitish Kumar will inaugurate it at 12 noon. With the inauguration, roads will be closed from R-block to G.P.O. to make the third end of the flyover.

The Road Construction Department has given necessary instructions to the Patna District Administration in this regard. The flyover will make the movement between R-block to Nehru Path i.e. Bailey Road easier. Patna District Administration is preparing a plan for traffic diversion.

This portion, costing 106 crores, is 960 meters long. It also has an elevated rotary at the R-block intersection, with an average length of 125 meters. This flyover, with an average of 12 meters in width, will facilitate the traffic of Virchand Patel Path, R-block intersection and road leading to the assembly. Its construction started in the year 2015. The third end of this flyover is being built towards Harding Park, which will be operational next year. After the three ends are formed, those going towards Kankarbagh, Patna Junction and Karbigahia will get a lot of convenience.
