(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: Union Minister of micro, small and medium enterprises Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday emphasized that on technology updates, and competitive costs, saying that exporters should focus on doubling garments exports. Addressing a meeting of the Apparel Export Promotion Council online here, Gadkari said that to make a place in the world market, Indian exporters must research and ensure quality. Also, competitive costs should be fixed using technology. He said that the government has announced a relief package to help small industries. This will increase the availability of capital in the market. He said that labs for testing of products should be set up so that quality can be assured.
