(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)Chennai: Prominent Singer, SP Bala Subramanyam’s health has deteriorated and shifted to ICU, in MGM health care hospital, Chennai. SP Balu joined MGM with mild symptoms of Corona on August 5th. Initially, he was under supervision and his health condition was stable after taking the medication.
But all of a sudden, on 14th August, the Hospital management released a health bulletin saying, the condition of SP Balu is serious and shifted to ICU. He was normal and resolute till Thursday evening, but all of a sudden he couldn’t breathe. There was a respiratory blockage. After detecting COVID positive, SP Balu uploaded a video, I’m tested positive for COVID, don’t worry I’m healthy and will get well soon.
SP Charan, Balu’s son refuted speculations around his father’s worsening health saying his father is ‘alive’. Balu continues to be on a ventilator and was under observation of accredited doctors at MGM. As soon as the news reached, Vice president Venkaiah Naidu spoke to the Hospital directors, Rajagopalan and Prasanth about Balu’s health status.
Popular Music director and singer, AR Rehman believed that Balu will be fine soon via his official Twitter account. Singers, Directors, Producers, Politicians, and many others in the Tollywood film industry wished for Balu’s speedy recovery.
