(Aditya Shaw, Intern Journalist): 3,175 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in West Bengal on Tuesday. This is the highest level of any single day in the state. With this, the number of people infected with Coronavirus in the state increased to 1,22,753. This information is given in an official bulletin.
According to the bulletin, 55 more patients died due to the disease in the state, which increased the number of dead to 2,528. Meanwhile, 2,987 patients recovered from the disease during the last 24 hours in the state. This improved the rate of patients recovering to 75.51 percent in the state. According to a bulletin issued by the Department of Health, there are currently 27,535 people infected with the virus in the state. 35,107 samples were tested for Covid-19 in West Bengal from Monday.
