Vijay Shankar is engaged even before leaving for UAE for IPL.
Indian all-rounder Vijay Shankar will soon be going to UAE to play IPL with the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. Just before this, they decided to get engaged and shared these pictures on social media as well. Vijay Shankar has been congratulated by fellow cricketers commenting on the engagement pictures posted on Instagram.
Vijay Shankar informed the fans about his engagement on Thursday. He is engaged to Vaishali Viswesharan. Vijay Shankar, along with his fiancé, has also shared two pictures on Instagram. Vaishali is seen in a lehenga in these pictures, while in the second photo, both are seen in traditional attire. Shankar has also received congratulatory messages from Indian players for this new beginning.
Vijay Shankar was part of the Indian team in the World Cup 2019 played in England and Wales last year, but due to injury he dropped out of the middle tournament and could never find a place in the Indian team again. Vijay Shankar made his T20 International debut against Sri Lanka in Colombo in 2018. At the same time, after a year, he made his ODI debut against Australia in 2019, but he did not succeed much.
