(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: Aadi Ganga maa Gomti’s Aarti was performed from 11 alters on the lines of Banaras at Mankameshwar Ghat led by Mahant Devyagiri of Mankameshwar Math Temple. Tribute was also given to Indians who died from Corona on this occasion. Along with this, mother Gomti was prayed that the corona crisis should be curbed soon. Mahant Devyagiri said that Shraddh Pujan expresses gratitude towards the forefathers.
The Shraddh month gives the message that for Hindus, their ancestors are also revered towards The Gods and Goddesses. Along with this, she gave a message to the people on Shraddh month to pay respect to their surviving parents as well. Under the guidance of Aacharya Rajnish Shastri, all the worships were conducted by law. Following the administrative instructions, a limited number of servicemen were present.
Mankameshwar Ghat Garden was decorated with Rangoli with the symbol of shraddha. Among them, crow, peacock, Charan Paduka were carved beautifully by Komal Kashyap, Jiya Kashyap, Vandana Agrahari, Ritu Giri, Rupa Giri, Kalyani Giri, Guaraja Giri, Malati Shukla. Annu Gupta received raised by singing beautifully.
