(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: the state government will give a cow each to the parents of most malnourished children. The financial assistance of 900 rupees will also be provided for the upbringing of the cow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made this announcement during the video conferencing. The Chief Minister was meeting on Friday in relation to the preparations for the nutrition month starting from September 7th.
He said that malnutrition can be eradicated only with the coordination of all departments. He directed to try to reduce the rate of malnutrition by 1% across the state in the next six months. The Chief Minister announced the award of Nutrition award to the districts doing good works. He said that he will review the program himself after 2 months.
