Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) Concerts halls are closed in New York, o New York’s Philharmonic is taking it to the streets. One of America’s oldest musical institutions, the famed symphony orchestra is performing door pop-up shows.

It has become more creative during the coronavirus pandemic due to which concert halls are closed and New Yorkers starved for live music. Every weekend they perform at surprise locations throughout the city. They take all the precautions while doing those live performances. They wear a shirt and masks in front of a pick-up truck dubbed the “bandwagon”.

Many times Musicians musicians get rained on or people just walk on by- but sometimes a nearby delivered truck honks along in exactly the right key. In those moments, ” it feels like the city is our orchestra and we are the soloists”, said Anthony Roth Costanzo, opera singer and series producer.
