(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Gonda: 5 youths drowned to save a calf that fell in an old well in the rajganj locality of Gonda City. Two youths are said to be close brothers among the Dead, while Three youths belong to different houses. Police and fire brigade teams carried out rescue operations for two hours and took out the dead bodies. A calf had fallen in a well located at Barambaba place on Tuesday afternoon.
Vaibhav, Son of Bahadur, descended into the well to save the calf. It is said that Vaibhav became unconscious. Vishnu, Chhotu, and Rinku also descended to save Vaibhav. Seeing the four youths trapped in the Well, Mannu also jumped in the well. It is said that all 5 were unconscious due to the leak of poisonous gas in the well, then fell into the water. Everyone died by drawing in the water.
