(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur: A young man in the grip of a goods train coming to Govind Nagar from Panki dragged him far between the wheels and the track. This cut both his legs from near the heel. When the train stopped at Dada Nagar crossing, the staff working on the track noticed that instead of removing the young man trapped in the train, he informed the control.
After about half an hour, RPF arrived and the young man was evacuated and sent to the hospital. By late evening, the condition of the young man was worrying.
