(Harleen Kaur, Intern Journalist)Deoria: Member of Parliament Dr. Ramapati Ram Tripathi raised the matter of non-commencement of construction of Kendriya Vidyalaya Deoria’s building in Lok Sabha on Monday. In the question raised under Rule 377, it has been said that for the last several years, efforts are underway to build a Kendriya Vidyalaya in my parliamentary constituency Deoria. Even after the land is available, the building has not been constructed yet.
The foundation stone for the construction of the building on the land provided in Amethi village was laid by former MP and Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra on 20 May 2018. The Central Public Works Department has tried several times for the construction of the building, but due to legal constraints, the building has not been completed yet. Even today the school is running the dilapidated building of the state ITI. Any untoward or accident can happen to children studying here. The legal hurdle on the school land should be removed administratively. If it is not possible immediately, then some other land should be provided in its place, from which the building can be constructed.
