Prime Minister Narendra Modi had tweeted that on October 16 i.e. at 11 am today, a commemorative coin of 75 rupees will be released on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of FAO and 17 biofortified varieties of 8 crops recently developed in the nation. Will be dedicated to it.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) was issued 2 days ago that the program is dedicated to the highest priority given by the government to the agriculture and nutrition sector. It also contributes to strengthening the government’s resolve to eradicate hunger, undernutrition, and malnutrition altogether.
