(Pooja Dubey, Intern Journalist) Lucknow University suddenly postponed the proposed counseling of B.Ed. New dates will be announced soon.
B.Ed. counseling was to be held from Monday. This year more than four lakh candidates appeared for the entrance examination for about two lakh seats.
The B.Ed entrance exam was held on 9 August. Its result was released on September 5. B.Ed Counseling was supposed to start from September 21, but due to the non-release of the final year of graduation in many institutes, the date of October 19 was fixed but once again this date was extended.
This time in counseling, poor upper castes will also get a reservation on the basis of EWS quota. However, this reservation will remain only in government and aided colleges. Zero fees will not be available in private educational institutions this time.
