(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) Vijayawada: We strongly believe that the better the farmer, the better the state. Nowhere in the history of the country is there a record of a farmer being paid Rs.13,500 per annum.
It is in our state. We are doing a lot of good things for the farmers. Some people can not stand to see all this Even though the rains ended on the 16th of this month, 10 days later they are still traveling with flowers tied to the tractor. Trying to misrepresent.
This time it rained well. All projects are packed. Also, I hope that the farmers will be able to grow their crops well with the financial help they are giving now. – CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy
Amravati: For the first time in the history of the state, we are giving input subsidy this Kharif season in the same season, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has said. We are proud to say that if crop damage occurs during the Kharif season, crop compensation will be paid in the same season.
It has been announced that farmers who lost their crops due to floods and heavy rains in October will be compensated by November. On Tuesday, he pressed a button on a computer from his camp office and deposited nearly Rs 1,115 crore in the accounts of 50.47 lakh farmers under the ‘YSR Farmer Assurance-PM Kisan’ for the second year in a row.
Also, for the first time in the history of the state, the Kharif input subsidy was paid in the same season. Rs 135.73 crore was deposited in the accounts of 1.66 lakh farmers.
The Farmer Assurance-PM Kisan scheme has also been extended to tenant farmers and farmers who have obtained ROFR title deeds and are ready to cultivate. To that extent, over Rs, 118 crores have been deposited in the accounts of over 1.02 lakh farmers at a rate of Rs 11,500 in two tranches this year.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM addressed a video conference to farmers in different districts. “We are assisting nearly Rs 6,800 crore to over half a crore farmers this year through the YSR Farmer Assurance-PM Kisan scheme,” he said. If there are about 1.50 crore houses in the state, 50 lakh of them .. that is, one-third of the houses are happy to help the investment to benefit. What else did CM YS Jagan say…
Better security for farmers
- When our government came to power, we first gave Rs 6,173 crore to 46.69 lakh farmer families last year. We are helping 50.47 lakh farmer families this year.
- In the history of the country, farmers are getting better security and employment in our state. We are giving Rs.13,500 instead of Rs.12,500, which is less than the guarantee given under farmer guarantee.
- We are also assisting tenant farmers, ROFR graduated tribal farmers, and farmers cultivating assigned lands. – Never input subsidy in the same (same) season as before. Compensation for loss in 2018 was completely avoided.
