New cases of Corona in Delhi began to decrease in July. At one time, the number of active cases had reached below 10 thousand. After that, the second wave of corona infection began. Earlier this month, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the peak of Corona’s second wave in Delhi seems to have passed. But now suddenly the rapid rise in new cases for the last few days is going to increase the concern. Nothing has been officially said yet, but recent figures indicate that the third wave of corona infection has started in Delhi.
Corona cases have suddenly increased in Delhi for the last few days. According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, 5,673 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the national capital on Wednesday. This is by far the highest number of new cases of infection in a single day. With this, the total number of infected with a corona in Delhi has crossed 3.7 lakh.
On Wednesday, 40 corona patients died in Delhi. With this, the total number of people who died from Corona in the national capital so far has been 6,396. The bulletin reported that Wednesday’s figures also add to a case of one death in August.
On Wednesday, 5,673 new cases were reported in Delhi. The day before, 4,853 new cases were reported on Tuesday, which was the highest single-day record at that time. Talking about Monday, 2,832 new cases were reported in the national capital that day. 4,136 new cases were reported on Sunday, 4,116 on Saturday, and 4,086 on Friday.
With the record of new cases coming up, there have been 29,378 cases of active cases in Delhi on Wednesday. The figure was 27,837 the day before. The total number of cases has increased to 3,70,014.
