(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: His first wife Rehana filed a lawsuit against his second wife Sulagna at the Hussainganj police station in the case of the suspicious death of State Property Department Arrangement Officer Nasim Akhtar. His body was found in the duct of the OCR building on 13 October. Naseem Akhtar was the Arrangement Officer at the OCR Building. Police are investigating at the point of murder and accident. Hussainganj Inspector Dinesh Singh Bisht said that a case of murder has been registered against the second wife, Sulagna, on the report of Rehana, the first wife of Delhi Officer, Shankarpur.
Rehana alleges that Sulagna was living illegally with her husband. On October 10, he had demanded a share in the property by messaging Abdul Ghaffar, father-in-law, and threatened to suffer dire consequences if he did not do so. Since then my husband disappeared. She disputed the property several times. She was the one who did not get a share in the property and murdered her husband and hid the body in the duct. Because of no doubt, on October 10, his disappearance was lodged in the police station. In view of the family’s allegations, the investigation is being done at the point of accident and murder. According to the post-mortem report, Naseem died of a bullet to the head. Viscera report is awaited.
Further action will be taken based on the expert’s opinion on the evidence and post mortem report.
