Apple had a record of $ 64.7 billion in revenue for the July-September quarter, thanks to strong performance in several markets, including India. Of this, 59 percent came from overseas sales. Net profit was $ 12.67 billion. In September, Apple launched its first online store in India.
According to research firm Canalis, Apple sold a record of two million iPhones during July-September, doubling its growth. Apple has recently started assembling the iPhone 11 in India in partnership with Foxconn and Wistron.
‘Geographically, we set records in the US, Europe, and the rest of Asia-Pacific in the September quarter. It was a record quarter for us in India as well. Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement that the newly launched online store is gaining unprecedented popularity in India.
