(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): German brewery ‘Standige Vertretung’ has banned Chancellor Angela Merkel and other politicians over the new Covid-19 restrictions in the country. In a video statement on Facebook, the brewery said the government has failed to prepare the country for the second wave of the disease. The partial lockdown in Germany will see bars and restaurants closing from November 2.
