(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) Vijayawada: EPFO Requests Pensioners: The EPFO office has made another important announcement. An announcement was made stating that EPFO pensioners should not come to PF offices to present their life certificates. The Employees Provident Fund Organization states that it can be provided at banks, post offices, common service centers, and at your service centers. Or submit a biometric digital life certificate based on the EPFO.
While pensioners usually present their life certificates at PF offices in November / December each year, but this year we are facing Covid, so officers want all pensioners to be safe at home. EPFO explained that it is working with the Common Services Center to take the necessary steps for digital living standard submission.
EPFO said it had chosen the multi-agency model to allow EPS pensioners to choose a service delivery agency to be convenient. For this, pensioners have to carry their mobile phones, bank passbook, pension payment order number, and Aadhaar number.
