Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Agra Bablu Kumar has also been hit by the coronavirus. SSP conducted a rapid antigen test, in which their report is positive. He has become isolated for treatment. A total of 67 new patients have been found on Saturday.
Collector Prabhu N. Singh said that SSP Bablu Kumar’s rapid antigen test report has come back positive. Other people who came in contact with him are also being investigated. After coming in contact with him, the DM in DM compound has also quarantined himself for 48 hours.
On Saturday, a 59-year-old corona patient from Shahganj died. He was also suffering from heart disease. The District Magistrate said that a corona patient died due to a heart attack due to shortness of breath. The figure of the dead has now reached 149 in the district.
The District Magistrate said that the number of 67 new patients and total patients has reached 7658. 7021 patients have recovered after infection. There are 488 patients undergoing treatment. Sample tests of 2.86 lakh people have been done in the district.
The rate of infection has started to increase as soon as the cold comes. In six days of November, 343 patients of coronavirus have been found. There were 48 patients on the first date of this month, 79 patients were found on 6 November. Experts are expecting this number to increase further at the festival.
Before Diwali, the Indian Medical Council of India feared the coronavirus patients to grow as the market grew crowded and cold. In six days of November, the rate of infection has increased by one and a half times. Most of those infected are aged between 30 and 50 years.
