Saloni Subha (Intern Journalist) New Delhi: India skipper Virat Kohli may skip the last two Tests of the highly-anticipated four-match series against Australia as he is expecting his first child in January 2021 which can provide an opportunity to K L Rahul.
Kholi’s wife actor Anushka is going to give birth to the couple’s first child in January. According to the official word on the skipper’s itinerary is not yet out However, a BCCI source that Kholi can take parental leave after the first two Tests of the series which will commence from December 17.
The BCCI has believed that family is the first priority. In case, the player decides to take a parental break, he will then be available only to the first two Tests matches, said the senior source.
