(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); The counting of votes will take place on Tuesday after voting for the three-phase Bihar assembly elections. In the exit poll, the opposition grand alliance has seen an edge and in such a situation, the Congress has instructed its leaders to keep a close watch on the strongroom of the EVMs, fearing a mess during the counting of votes.
The Congress has asked its senior leaders to stay in their assigned positions in all 38 districts and keep an eye on the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) to be kept in Strongroom. In almost all exit polls for Bihar assembly election results, the victory of the RJD-led grand alliance has been anticipating. Overwhelmed by the exit poll results, the Congress has sent several senior leaders including party general secretaries Randeep Surjewala and Avinash Pandey to Patna. The party’s objective behind this move is to maintain proper coordination with allies.
