(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Mumbai: Juhi Chawla celebrates her birthday on 13 November. Juhi took the title of Miss India in 1984, before appearing in films. She started her career in Hindi films with the 1986 film Sultanate. Although the film was a flop. She then turned to the South Indian industry. After doing a few films there, Juhi turned to Bollywood again. Juhi Chawla got her first big break in the film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’. The film proved to be a hit and Juhi Chawla benefited from it. Aamir Khan was with her in this. After this, Juhi appeared in the 1990 film ‘Ban’. In 1992, she did the film ‘Bol Radha Bol’, in which she was accompanied by Rishi Kapoor.
Juhi Chawla has given three hit films ‘Aaina’, ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’ and ‘Dare’ one after the other. ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’ is considered to be the best performance of Juhi Chawla’s career. In it, her pairing with Aamir Khan was also well liked. Most of Juhi Chawla’s films were hits between 1990 and 1999. Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla were also well received by the audience. After ‘Darr’, she once again appeared in the film ‘Duplicate’ with Shah Rukh Khan. The film could not do anything special at the box office but Shah Rukh and Juhi’s pair was highly liked in it. She also managed to make her laugh with her flirtatious acts. Juhi Chawla is known for her comic timing. She also did lighthearted comedy films including ‘Yes Boss’, ‘Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi’ and ‘Deewana Mastana’. Talking about personal life, Juhi married businessman Jai Mehta in the year 1995. They have two children Janhvi and Arjun.
