Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Lucknow; Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the people of the state on the appreciation of the UP model by the World Health Organization (WHO) in the fight against Covid-19. He said that the action taken by the state government under the guidance of the Prime Minister to deal with Covid-19 was praised by the world’s highest institution in the field of health, it proves that the state government implemented the right strategy.

The Chief Minister was reviewing the unlocked system at a high-level meeting at his government residence in Lucknow on Wednesday. He said that the second wave of Covid-19 is being seen in various countries and many states of India. In view of this, the availability of ICU beds should be reviewed while maintaining complete vigilance at every level.

The Chief Minister directed Covid-19 to strengthen the system of prevention and treatment and said that the system of contact tracing and surveillance system should be kept active as before. He also directed to pay special attention to contact tracing of people coming from other states. He appealed to people to complete the ritual of the Chhath festival by staying at home. For this, people can perform rituals by filling water in a tub or any other large vessel in their house.

Yogi said that team-11 has given better results with complete coordination. The pace of work should be continued in the same way. He directed the Integrated Command and Control Center to operate fully and said that its role is very important in preventing the spread of Covid-19. He has instructed to conduct medical testing of Covid-19 on a random basis.

The Chief Minister said that such a system should be implemented at the paddy purchasing centers so that farmers do not have to wait to sell their produce. In this regard, arrangements should be made for issuing slips to farmers. He has also given instructions to ensure the payment of farmers’ produce within 72 hours.

The Chief Minister directed that in the districts where the crop of farmers has been damaged due to excessive rains, an assessment should be made to provide immediate compensation to the affected farmers. He also directed the district level review of the implementation of the instructions of the Uttar Pradesh Workers and Workers (Employment and Employment) Commission.
