As against 38,617 cases reported on Wednesday, 45,576 new infections have been detected in the last 24 hours. The increase in the number of infected is raising the concerns of the government. At the same time, it is a matter of relief that the number of patients who have become infection-free has crossed 83 million.
According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 45,576 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours. During this period, the number of patients lost to Covid-19 has been 585. At the same time, a total of 89,58,484 people have fallen prey to this dangerous virus in the country.
According to the ministry’s data, the number of active cases in the country has remained consistently below five lakh. Currently, the number of active patients in the country is 4,43,303. It has decreased by 3,502 in the last 24 hours.
According to the data, the total number of patients recovering from the virus has increased to 83,83,603 in the country. In the last 24 hours, 48,493 patients have recovered from the virus and have returned home from the hospital. At the same time, a total of 1,31,578 patients have died due to Coronavirus in the country so far.
