Two summons have been issued against Donald Trump and his company on charges of tax evasion. One of these criminal cases is being investigated by the Manhattan Attorney Cyrus R. Vance.
In the second civil case, New York Attorney General Letitia James has summoned. The cases pertain to income tax on Trump and his company. The records of his income tax returns of the last twenty years are being scrutinized to investigate the cases. Trump is alleged to have shown $ 26 million (around Rs 192 crore) as consultancy fee to reduce his tax paid income between 2010 and 2018. These investigations are already being done. The process of sending summons has been done only last week. Ivanka was the executive of the company, even after that, she was paid this consulting fee. It is believed that there will be no problem for Ivanka Trump in this case because they have shown this consultation fee in their returns. Questions may arise in Trump’s company.
