(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: Amid speculation that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 10th and 12th examinations may be postponed due to Coronavirus, Board Secretary Anurag Tripathi has said that the date sheet for CBSE 2021 10th, 12th will be released soon.
The exam schedule will be available on the CBSE official site cbse.nic.in.
Board Secretary Anurag Tripathi said in a webinar organized on the New Education Policy (NEP) conducted by ASSOCHAM, ‘The board examinations will definitely take place and its schedule will be announced very soon. CBSE is preparing and the schedule will be revealed soon. We had a big challenge during the past March-April but our schools and teachers, using new technology, turned this time into an opportunity, conducting online classes using various applications within a few months. Now such classes have become common.’
However, Tripathi has not given any details about the format under which the examinations will be conducted. Usually, CBSE conducts board exams of class 10, 12 in February-March. It is also worth mentioning here that the Maharashtra and Gujarat boards have decided to postpone the Board Exam 2021 till May.
